The lead-up to Christmas is full of things adults take for granted. For a child, a family’s financial worries can mean wondering whether they can look forward to the same things as everyone else. The film for the Hyvä Joulumieli appeal, organised by the Finnish Red Cross, the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare and Yle, began with that experience.
Tonto Helsinki developed and produced the campaign with the Red Cross creative team. Viivi Huuska directed the film and Ville Salminen shot the campaign photography. The crew and post-production partners contributed their work in a charitable spirit. The appeal funds food gift cards for low-income families with children in Finland.
