Finnlines wins silver and bronze at LIA

Finnlines’ campaign spoke to people who do not feel at home on a traditional cruise. The films took viewers into a therapist’s office to revisit less-than-pleasant cruise memories. Instead of ships and sea views, the focus was on people and dry humour.

Two awards for the campaign films

Silver — Copywriting Series
The TV & Cinema competition’s copywriting category.

Bronze — Travel & Leisure Series
The TV & Cinema competition’s travel and leisure category.

The award-winning series comprises three films entered as August 1st, Have To Get Wasted and A Sticky Past. Written by Topi Leikas, directed by Simo Liukka and shot by Max Smeds, the films were produced by Tonto Helsinki.

Strategy also reaches the final

The campaign was also a finalist in two Creative Strategy categories: Breaking Sector Convention and Travel. It was entered as Cruises For Those Who Don’t Like Cruises.

Thank you to Finnlines and the entire team for a great collaboration!
